Well, hello Tumblr! It’s been a while again. All I can offer you at this point is my monthly May mix (click!) and my sincerest web based apologies. I will (hopefully) be back to posting more regularly soon!

Well my April mix is finally finished! You can check it out here:

Miike Snow ‘The Wave’ from Arianna Tomasettig on Vimeo.
I’m really liking this video for Miike Snow’s new single “The Wave”. Ps: so looking forward to hearing the rest of this album now! In terms of the video though, it has similar yellow tinting to this Starslinger video directed by Jordan Kim which I’m very into. Also, I love all of the repetition with the people in the video and the shot set ups. Very nice stuff.
More music inspiration today from Mark Ronson and Katy B’s theme for the London Olympics. Loving that the track is created from sampling the sounds of atheletes. This makes it some seriously inspiring awesomeness, personally speaking. Also, the art/creative direction on this video/performance is pretty rad too.
Well, it’s a bit late again (sigh), but here is march’s mix: http://rd.io/x/QVTQvjNWbts (!)
For this month, I tried to be better about making the songs actually flow together (which is a little bit important for a good mix, I think!). So, how did I do?
I am experiencing some Serge Gainsbourg love on this Monday (and having some serious Paris daydreams!). p.s: doesn’t Serge look a bit stylish in his slim cut suit? Very early ‘60’s (which I love).
Universal Everything always makes lovely work, and this new installation is no exception!

This looks awesome. speaking of projection mapping, I rediscovered Amon Tobin’s awesome set of live visuals for his ISAM tour, which involved some projection mapping and was seriously awesome. Check out the video of the ISAM visuals below:
